Our Useful Stitchery A few years back, my siblings and I spent a lot of time taking care of our Mother who was stricken with breast cancer. It was a long struggle but it gave each of us time to really get to know her and learn about what really made her tick. Any one who knew Alice knew how much she loved to sew and embroidry was her passion. She would sew our clothes and prom dresses, wedding dresses ,costumes, even dolls and doll clothes. She was the most creative woman. During the last year of Moms care I was spending a lot of time with her and she taught me the basics of sewing. It was a special time and time well spent together. I know she enjoyed teaching her craft to anyone who wanted to learn.

   I took what she taught me and applied it to things that I learned to make useful things that can be used in our everyday lives. I hope you love them as much as I loved my Mama.

   I have added her name to this business, Alice, or Allie as many called her. "ALLIES AMBRY of Useful Stitchery" will be a tiny part of the HUM-fi™ Hummingbird Business but a Big part of my heart.
